I sent my newsletter supporter's a contest to join in on, but I thought to myself, self I am sure other's would like to play along as well.  So, here are the details--

It's April's Crafting Tip Tuesday

Today, I have some quick tip for you.

How to color your basic pearls.

1)  Do you have those wonderful basic pearls from Stampin' Up!

Now, do you have re-inkers 

And, you will need some of Stampin' Up!' s crystal effects, a plastic container of some sort, and a small paint brush.

Here is what your going to do- you are going to squirt some crystal effects into the plastic container and stir.  Now, put your pearls in front of you and using a paint brush your going to paint the pearls with the mixture.  Now, you have pearls of any color. Now, that is how you color basic pearls.  Pretty Cool.

Dream, Dream, Dream

Hi, everyone.  I hope your having a good week so far.  I wanted to show you today how I used different shades of PINK to create this card.  As you can see, I used the same COLOR combonation as I did for my Chic Challenges 4, but did you know that the designer paper and the cardstock is used from the same sheet?  Yup, with one sheet of cardstock I made a 3x3 card and a standard A2 card, cool huh?  How many different kinds of cards can you make with one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock and designer paper that measures 12 x 12?  I would love to hear from you so leave me a comment.

Chic Challenge Four

Welcome to Chic Challenge Four.  Yup, can you believe it?  I am so excited today because instead of an ordinary card I thought I would inspire you with a 3x3 card.  The card base is cut to 6x3 and scored at 3.  The first layer is 2 3/4 x 2 3/4.  I also used the fancy border punch, the designer series pack, basic rhinestones, elegant butterfly punch, and the word Inspire from the clear stamp set loving thoughts.  Please feel free to play along with us.
